Reunification

The role of the family in raising children is recognized universally and it is widely accepted that the state assists children only when parents are unable to do so.

At CPWB, the family tracing section is assigned the task of locating rescued children’s families for the purpose of reunification. The reunification process is based on the concept that it is the child’s right to be cared for by his parents and family.

Since rescued children are victims of neglect, abuse and exploitation; the Bureau aims to place them in a family environment as soon as possible, so that their self-respect and dignity are restored and chances of their emotional and physical recovery are enhanced.
