Child Protection Institutes

For rescued children who can not be placed in safe family environment, the Bureau has established standardized alternative care institutions. Child Protection Institutions managed by the Bureau provide residence, food, education, health care, psychological counseling and recreation to destitute and neglected children upon admission till the time that the children are reunited into their families. 59106 children were admitted in CPIs so far in different district offices of the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau From 2004 to 2023.
