The Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB) works for the rescue, protection, and rehabilitation of destitute and neglected children under the PDNC Act 2007. CPWB offers a comprehensive internship program for enrolled students from various universities and colleges across its different institutions and sections.The purpose of this program is to train young graduates in the field of child protection and help them understand the emerging needs of the development sector. It provides a meaningful and challenging environment where interns are sensitized to the rights and issues of destitute and neglected children. During the internship, interns observe how professionals from different backgrounds work collectively for the rescue, protection, and rehabilitation of children. Interns are trained in social mobilization, mob management, and the challenges of fieldwork, and are practically involved in service delivery for the welfare and development of vulnerable children.
Objectives of Internship

Duration
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be regularly enrolled in an educational, academic, or research institution.
- Candidates must possess a domicile of the Punjab province.
- Candidates must have a valid CNIC.
- Preference will be given to students enrolled in social sciences.
Terms & Conditions
- CPWB offers a non-paid internship program throughout the year.
- Internship does not guarantee future employment with CPWB.
- Potential employees are recruited according to the rules and regulations of CPWB.
- Interns placed at CPWB must follow all rules, regulations, and official timings of the Bureau.
- Interns will be awarded an internship completion certificate in accordance with CPWB's rules and regulations.
