Chairperson of the Child Protection Bureau and MPA Punjab, Sarah Ahmad, attended a seminar as the chief guest on preventing Child Exploitation organized by Samaj NGO in collaboration with the German Embassy.
During her address, she emphasized the urgent need for joint efforts by all stakeholders to prevent child exploitation. Highlighting revolutionary measures under CM Maryam Nawaz's leadership, she stressed the importance of providing a safe environment for children and recognized the Child Protection Bureau as a safe haven for vulnerable children. She also underscored the role of effective legislation and strict punishments for perpetrators in eradicating exploitation.
The seminar was attended by notable participants, including Seema Hashmi, Nighat Dad, and Nabeela Feroz.
