Child Protection Bureau sign MoU With Hunargah

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Child Protection and welfare Bureau Punjab and a welfare organisation, Hunargah, here on Tuesday 05-Nov-2019 to provide training to girls about beautician, stitching, etc. Hunargah Chairperson, Begum Perveen Sarwar, the wife of Punjab governor, and CPB Punjab Chairperson Sarah Ahmad signed the MoU, whereas MPA Shawana Bashir, Board member Shabana and others were also present. Begum Perveen Sarwar also provided sewing machines and other equipment to girls at the CPB. Later, talking to the media, Begum Perveen Sarwar said that it was decided that training courses of stitching besides others would be provided to girls at Child Protection Bureau free-of-cost, adding that the programme was being initiated in Lahore in the first phase. Later, it would be extended across Punjab so that more girls could be imparted skilks training. Sarah Ahmad thanked Begum Perveen Sarwar for provision of sewing machines for girls and said that employment opportunities would be provided to girls after imparting skills training to them.
