Every rescued child undergoes Initial Health Assessment conducted by qualified doctors of Child Protection & Welfare Bureau. The primary health assessment facilities are provided to all children residing in CPI. Annual physical examination of residing children is conducted and where required, vaccinations are administered. Children’s health records are shared with families upon reunification. The medical section has provided health facilities to 5851 destitute and neglected children in the Financial Year 2014-15. The Medical Section has organized Three medical and dental camps in which 27 children have undergone surgeries.
